So yesterday we visited another 7 children & again more eye opening situations. We revisited little Kira & managed to get a few words from her which was a huge step forward & we’ll see her again on Sunday when I’m hoping for a hug. ? Another beautiful little girl Nastya who stays out in the villages was living in
Good morning from a freezing Klimavichi! Yesterday was a really productive day. We met with the lovely Irina from the Education Department who is extremely supportive of our efforts & we also found our second interpreter Lena, a very warm & kind lady with fantastic English! We paid a short visit to my & Andrea’s Children from the FOCC West
Arrived safely in a cold & snowy Mogilev. -20 forecast for tomorrow evening so I’d better get my thermal PJs looked out. Big day tomorrow meeting with the authorities in Klimavichi to officialise our working partnership then on to meet some of our wonderful children. Exciting times ahead ? — feeling positive.

After an amazing response from the Biggar Community, we are now only looking for 2 more host families in the Biggar area to host our wonderful Belarusian children for 1 month in August 2019. We would really love someone from the FARMING COMMUNITY to come forward if at all possible to host a lovely wee boy who wants to be
It was a cold and windy evening in Tarbrax, but the hearts and minds of those present were warm and generous. After the amazing fireworks show on the Bing, the crowds descended on the Village Hall to partake in some hot soup, jacket potatoes, savouries and cakes. Our first Fundraising event took place in Andrea’s home in Tarbrax. Here, a group of dedicated gin lovers met to taste some gins and learn about their background. Our gin connoisseur for the evening was Annmarie who taught us all a thing or 2 about how to mix our gins. It was a wonderful event to kick start our fundraising
