A visit to Edinburgh and the opticians
On Tuesday we were in Edinburgh with the children for the first visit to the opticians. Black & Lizars were just amazing! We jumped on the tram at Sighthill which the children really enjoyed & the weather was kind to us meaning the kids had a great time playing at the park in Princes Street gardens too. A long but

Amazing Meg
A huge & special thank you to our beloved & amazing friend Meg for putting our charity forward to her school head teacher. Meg is a trustee of the charity & has been there from the start with her endless love & support. Sadly, just before Christmas, our Meg was diagnosed with secondary breast cancer & had to step back

Great news, all our children arrived in Mogilev today for their biometrics for their visas. Thanks to our fantastic interpreters Ludmila & Елена for all their hard work & also FOCC GB & our wonderful friends at Helping Hands in Belarus who organise the mobile biometrics saving our children a very long journey to Minsk!

I’m so excited to introduce you to our “Chernobyl’s Angels of Hope” children who will arrive in August. It’s been a very emotional trip, there are always heartbreaking stories that come with these lovely kids but their month of respite with our fantastic host families will be life changing for them ❤️ Let the fundraising commence!!! ?
